Hooded Crow Project
The law on attachment of geometric figures to all the crows of
Petah-Tikva has been adopted by Petah-Tikva City Council. This should
be done because such famous person as Kazimir Malevich is almost
unknown by the citizens of Petah-Tikva, and these grey wretched birds
occupy trash dumps in every street.
It has been decided to attach a geometric figure - a sphere or a cube
- to every crow. This will enliven the city exterior and develop the
artistic taste of the population in the spirit of avantgarde of the
1920ies.
Even those who drive trucks, sell falafel, sweep the streets or work
in the market, as well as their wives and children, will receive
artistic education for free.
Besides its aesthetic role, this project also has psychological
benefits: banditism and thievery, drug addiction and prostitution,
bribery and corruption, pedophilia and abuse of the elderly will
diappear in the city. In a year after the last geometric object is
attached to the paws of a crow, the number of drunk and swearing
people in the streets will significantly decrease.
From the letter of the Mayor of Petah-Tikva to the artist Natasha
Zborovskaya-Sigawi:
For this project, the City Council of Petah-Tikva has placed an order
for manufacturing over 20,000 geometric objects with a local artist,
Natashazborsiga (dogsbody). The Head of city Ornithological Veterinary
Service has been authorized to catch the birds and attach the objects
to them…
